Not compatible with El Capitan. Not compatible with Wondows 10. Not compatible with iOS 9. Waste of time, waste of effort, waste of money.

Its been a whole year and the support for win8 never comes out. Not to mention win10. Looks like the dev only has time to mess around with the apps price.
The iDisplay doesnt open on my iMac, could this be because it is Mac 10.11?
The desktop application had no onscreen set up dialogue, was unresponsive once “running,” and would not communicate with the iPad and iPhone app. Utterly useless.
For $5 I had hoped for a smoother connection. I wanted to use my iPad as a drawing surface for Illustrator but the lag-time is really disappointing. My fingers are crossed for an update.
I have it on my iPad mini 4 connected to a Windows 8.1 laptop but it crashes all the time now, after working for a little initially. Also the crash report should be automatic but I have to fill out a ton of info so i havent done it.
I bought this for my iPad Pro. The Lite version worked, but the paid version just sits in my Macs menu bar, greyed out and unresponsive. Ive reinstalled several times, and four requests for tech support over 3 weeks yielded no responses. It may work if this is figured out, but if theres no support to make that happen, its useless to me. Im about to give up and spend $15 on the competitor, Duet Display, although it requires a lightning connection, not wifi.
Suggest you download and install the Windows software that this needs before buying the App. After installing the Windows software it runs a display test which cause my HP Windows Z-Book to crash ( Blue Screen of Death). So I never got to try it. Check out my review on Duet Display.
Apple... Why do you... Not learn from Sony.
Does not work as advertised, or at all. Waste of money
My setup: iPad 1 + Windows 10 laptop. Not able to get either device to see each other. Tried everything. I sent a message to iDisplay support but never received a response.
I used iDisplay app before, and it was sometimes not really responsive. Now it works fast, how it should be.
This update fixed a few minor glitches I noticed while switching from portrait to landscape mode. Works really well now with both, my iPad Air 2 (I travel with it), and my older iPad Air 1, which basically just sits on a stand on my desk. I found iDisplay to be super useful when working on presentations and keeping data on the extra space. Would definitely recommend it.
Having a dual screen setup changes everything. Ive used this app for years now with the iPad pro its like a full dual full screen setup. No wires needed!
To have tweets on a separate screen. Sometimes also for Facebook. Update: works much faster now with my iPad Pro
Speed is lagging but that is not even the problem. The mouse doesnt even click and when it does sometimes it is totally off and inaccurate. Yes I went through all the settings but its not my problem. He app is a good concept but needs lots of fixing.
I downloaded this app so that I could have an external display for my laptop when I was working from home. I installed the app and my Windows 10 Pro Dell laptop and my iPad mini 2 tablet. I can get it to work as a duplicate main screen but not as an additional external screen. Ive asked for support but so far I have not received any from this company. At this point I just want my money back.
DO NOT BUY! They will not answer your request for help. The app does not work! Theyll take your money and leave you high and dry. DO NOT BUY!
Definitely a useful app, since I have an "old" iPad Air, which I now use as a second display. I like to keep Twitter and audio podcasts on the screen. Will try to use it more at work as well.
