A good app if you understand its limitations
Im used to using 2 screens with my laptop. I travel a fair bit and previously often didnt have a 2nd screen when traveling. Now I just use iDisplay on my iPad as my 2nd screen. I have an LG laptop with Win7. I have to switch back to basic win7 color mode. I only use the iPad screen for fairly static images but it works well to give me a fair bit more screen space than i would get with just my laptop. I put Skype, or a calculator, or an email on the iPad screen that I want to refer to and I can still use my primary screen while referring to the 2nd screen. The resolution of the iPad screen is whatever the size of the iPad is so yes the windows moved from my main screen which has higher resolution do shrink slightly but as I only use it for static type things that I refer to Im good with that.
If you understand the limits of the app and work within them it is a great deal to get access to a 2nd monitor.
