Do not buy this
Great idea, but I never actually got to the point of trying it out. It creates a second monitor that is always there, and unfortunately my computer decided to put the login screen on that monitor. However, until youve configured the iPad, there is actually no second monitor. I had to use VNC to connect to my computer just to see the login screen and then display settings, and no matter how I configured them, I could find no way to restart the computer and have it think it had only the one monitor. Eventually I was able to uninstall the desktop application. I would avoid this app. I am an experienced Mac user, I have previously worked as a software developer, and I am pretty sure this wasnt pilot error.
